  Welcome to my web site.
I am a freelance feature writer for national newspapers and magazines, and have previously worked as a columnist and editor of a quarterly magazine.

I specialise and take a keen interest in local government and social issues, and have interviewed leading politicians such as Tony Benn and Ann Widdecombe.

As well as my journalism I provide copywriting, training and script consultancy services for academics, councils and businesses.

Clients describe my writing as: ‘a relaxed and flowing style’, ‘quirky, well researched and thoroughly interesting,’ ‘incisive and a good read’, 'trustworthy and reliable.’

I hope that I can be of help.
