Why write a book – The benefits
Lots of people are writing and self-publishing – thanks to PCs, the Internet and digital printing it is easier, faster and cheaper than ever before.

Here are just some of the benefits:

· Boost your interest, business profile and profits
· Demonstrate skills and interests
· Share ideas and hobbies with others
· Record family history and memoirs
· Attract the attention of mainstream publishers

Help for non-fiction/first-time authors
Writing a book may take you a few months – clearly it’s not a short project. But, like anything, if you break it down into manageable tasks, there is no reason why you can’t succeed.

As an experienced writer, editor and copy-editor (I work for Oxford University and several publishers), here’s how I can help:

· Developing your book idea and content
· Tips to make the writing process easier
· Support, coaching and mentoring during the process
· Ghost writing
· Polishing your text – editing and proofreading skills
· Self-publishing – explaining the options
· Marketing and selling – profiting from your book

Get the ball rolling…
Whatever your idea and whatever your experience, whether your book is half-written or not yet started, I would be pleased to give you advice and support.
